InfoSense Inc. has developed a technology using proprietary signals to determine where sewer lines are clogged and might rupture. The nationwide cost of such repairs is estimated at $3 billion anually. InfoSense has received an SBIR grant from the National Science Foundation and is testing the technology with Charlote-Mecklenburg Utilities.
